EY’s Challenger program is seeking an experienced AI-enabled product engineer to turn emerging AI capabilities into durable products. You will own end-to-end slices across experience, services, data, AI behavior, and enterprise integrations, close to users, decisions, and production code.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, balancing speed with accessibility, maintainability, and responsible use, while travelling up to 50% and engaging in hybrid

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• End-to-end delivery of software from concept to launch and adoption.
• Technical breadth across frontend, backend, API, data and cloud tech.
• Hands-on AI product experience with large language models, retrieval, tools, or similar patterns.
• Experience designing automated tests and behavioral evaluation for probabilistic systems.
• Telemetry, debugging, reliability, incident response, and performance improvements in live services.
• Travel up to 50% and hybrid on-site collaboration required.

Responsabilités

• Start with the user and translate observations into value through AI-enabled features.
• Test assumptions quickly through concise specs, prototypes, and small releases.
• Own complete product slices across experience, services, data, AI behavior, and integrations.
• Design AI behavior: instructions, context, retrieval, and structured outputs.
• Build the evidence system with representative tasks and automated evaluations.
• Instrument user journeys to relate adoption to system behavior, latency, and cost.
• Ensure responsible use with clear permissions, data handling, and rollback strategies.
• Release incrementally, monitor live behavior, and improve through incidents.
• Balance experience, quality, speed, reliability, and cost in product decisions.
• Share reusable patterns with the broader platform while maintaining accountability.
