Job summary

PagerDuty is seeking an AI-Forward Sr. Product & Design Operations Manager to partner with Product and Design leadership.

You will establish the operating system for planning, prioritization, and launch discipline, aligning with Engineering, Finance, and CS to deliver customer value. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in product/design operations, a track record in scalable processes, and experience with agentic AI workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Operations, Design Operations, or similar roles.
• Experience establishing planning and prioritization processes across a product organization.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional launches and releases across Engineering, Marketing, Support, and Customer Success.
• Strong PM and organizational skills with processes that run without their author.
• Experience creating and maintaining operational documentation and standards.
• Ability to work autonomously and drive initiatives across teams you do not own.
• Experience building agentic AI workflows with Claude or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison for Product and Design on AI Transformation, enabling teams with Claude skills.
• Define the Product Operations function and establish planning discipline with clear scope and metrics.
• Build cross-functional workflows for major releases across Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Support, Legal, and CS.
• Own the R&D capitalization process with Finance and define criteria for classification.
• Partner with Customer Success on closed-loop product feedback with clear customer needs.
• Automate operating rhythms: planning cadences, design sprints, workshops, office hours.
• Lead vendor management and tooling budget oversight for Product and Design.
• Enable research operations with agentic workflows and reusable insights across teams.
• Define, track, and report KPIs for product and design effectiveness.
• Create onboarding programs for new Product and Design team members.
• Collaborate with leadership to set operational vision and priorities.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across Product and Design.
