Job summary
Empower Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Technician, Shipping, to drive accurate, compliant, and timely medication distribution across our fast-growing 503A/503B operations. You will own end-to-end shipment preparation, verification, and dispatch, ensuring chain of custody and documentation while leveraging AI to boost throughput and accuracy.
The role requires 1–2 years in pharmacy operations, familiarity with pharmacy systems, and a keen eye for detail.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in pharmacy operations or a regulated production environment.
- Experience with pharmacy systems, shipping platforms, or inventory management tools.
- Familiarity with 503A/503B environments, GMP practices, or healthcare operations is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Order Preparation: Prepares and stages prescriptions for shipment using standardized workflows and AI-enabled verification tools.
- Package Assembly: Assembles shipping containers with AI-supported checklists to reduce errors and ensure compliance.
- Dispatch Execution: Executes shipment release and handoff with AI insights to meet service levels and maintain chain of custody.
