Job summary

Empower Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician, Dispensing to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant medications across our 503A and 503B operations. You will work in a fast-paced, regulated environment emphasizing quality, throughput, and patient safety.

The role requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and ownership, with opportunities to leverage technology and improve workflows across our nationwide platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of dispensing workflows, prescription accuracy standards, labeling requirements, and SOP adherence.
• Experience using pharmacy systems, barcode verification tools, and digital platforms to improve workflow efficiency.
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to perform accurately in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions, patient information, product details, and labeling elements to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and readiness for pharmacist review.
• Prepare and apply accurate labels with correct dosing, auxiliary warnings, expiration details, and traceability elements.
• Complete dispensing records in real time, ensuring audit readiness, data integrity, and alignment with internal procedures.
• Organize daily dispensing activities based on urgency, turnaround expectations, and workflow dependencies.
