Job summary

Capgemini Invent in the United States seeks a Managing Consultant to drive digital manufacturing transformations for global clients. You will lead the design and implementation of modern factory platforms, leveraging AI and analytics to boost insights, decisions, and outcomes.

The role bridges strategy, technology, and execution, turning future manufacturing visions into scalable, compliant solutions. You will mentor teams and manage senior stakeholders throughout client engagements.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years in digital manufacturing consulting.
• Strong MES, SCADA, automation platform expertise and implementation experience.
• Proven experience demonstrating problem solving, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• AI literacy and experience applying analytics or automation in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead client projects to deliver AI-powered manufacturing improvements.
• Advise on current and future factory platforms for ROI-driven outcomes.
• Design and plan modern MES and next-generation digital manufacturing solutions.
• Define IT/OT integration using industry standards (ISA-95/88).
• Mentor teams, promote AI literacy, and drive scalable delivery.
• Manage senior stakeholders with data-driven recommendations.
• Develop proposals and RFPs highlighting AI benefits and impact.
• Deliver AI-driven manufacturing solutions by leading end-to-end client projects from design through execution.
• Manage risks, vendors, and ensure sustainable manufacturing operations.
