Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Learning & Enablement Specialist to design and deliver AI-enhanced training in a dynamic retail call center environment. You’ll create engaging eLearning modules, microlearning, and performance-focused content while leveraging AI tools to personalize learner paths and measure impact.

The role emphasizes content development, instructional design strategy, and facilitation, with opportunities to scale across locations and regions using modern AI-enabled tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with experience in instructional design and learning development.
• Experience creating eLearning content with authoring tools and AI-assisted methods.
• Familiarity with performance metrics and LMS governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging, learner-centered training content including eLearning modules, microlearning, video explainers, job aids, and blended curricula using Articulate Storyline, Rise, Vyond, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Leverage AI-assisted content creation tools to accelerate development of high-quality learning materials and assessments.
• Apply prompt engineering to guide AI platforms for accurate, on-brand content.
• Collaborate with SMEs and teams to translate complex processes into learning experiences.
• Develop assessments, knowledge checks, and social learning strategies; manage LMS content and reporting.
