Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Learning & Enablement Specialist to create engaging eLearning content and lead training initiatives across multiple locations. The role combines instructional design with hands-on facilitation in a fast-paced retail call center setting.

The ideal candidate will leverage AI tools (Second Nature, Vyond, Storyline) to develop measurable learning solutions, partner with SMEs, and drive performance metrics while delivering high-quality training at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or 5+ years in L&D with no degree.
• Proven ability to develop eLearning content with Articulate Storyline or Rise.
• Experience with AI-assisted content creation and LMS management.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging eLearning modules, microlearning, and video-based content.
• Deliver training sessions in-person and virtually.
• Coordinate with SMEs and cross-functional teams to align content with processes.
• Track learning metrics (STP, completion rates) and iterate content accordingly.
• Maintain and update LMS course content and reporting.
