You will drive architectural designs, build scalable services in Java/Spring Boot, and embrace AI-assisted development to improve code quality and delivery velocity.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 5+ years applied experience in software development and operations.
• Advanced in one or more programming languages.
• 8+ years in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and AWS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, KMS, ECS, EKS, S3, EMR, Athena, SQS, EventBridge, PostgresSQL).
• Experience with cloud provisioning tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience leading teams and advocating AI-assisted software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and complex problem solving across multiple domains.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews others' work.
• Drives AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and security.
• Applies SDLC tools for automation and validation, improving value and consistency.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation for operational stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams on architecture.
• Codes in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and AWS; uses Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Leads varying levels of Software Engineers.
