Job summary

Qualifications
- 5+ years formal software engineering experience and training
- Hands-on with system design, development, testing, and operations
- Advanced in one or more programming languages
- 8+ years coding in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and AWS
- Hands-on with AWS services and cloud provisioning tools
- Experience leading effective use of AI-assisted development tools with secure adoption
- Strong understanding of secure coding, resiliency, and security
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Leadership and mentoring experience
Responsibilities
- Executes creative software solutions and tackles complex problems
- Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code
- Drives AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and delivery speed
- Applies SDLC tools to improve automation and value
- Identifies opportunities to automate remediation and improve stability
- Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on designs
- Codes in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and AWS
- Uses Terraform and CloudFormation for provisioning
- Promotes agile, CI/CD, resiliency and security practices
- Mentors engineers at varying levels
