Job summary

Huntington University is seeking an Instructional Designer to lead learning design, course development, and faculty partnership. The role focuses on accessible, engaging face-to-face, hybrid, online, and technology-enhanced learning with emphasis on AI-forward design and assessment practices.

The position is a three-year grant-funded role through the Lilly Endowment AIHE Implementation Grant. Continuation beyond the grant period depends on funding and performance.

Responsibilities

• Designs and redesigns accessible, engaging, and rigorous learning experiences for in-person, hybrid, and online formats
• Partners with faculty to implement AI-forward course design and assessment practices
• Collaborates with instructional technologist and IT to integrate AI thoughtfully while protecting privacy and accessibility
• Supports faculty development related to responsible AI use and learning analytics
