Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an Instructional Designer to create high-quality learning solutions that enable performance and support learning in the flow of work.

You will translate business needs into structured learning experiences, design and build assets, and collaborate with partners to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and impact. You will apply adult learning principles, utilize AI-enabled tools thoughtfully, and maintain thorough documentation and QA across the learning lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent.
• Five or more years of experience in instructional design, learning development, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and update learning assets using approved templates, tools, and standards.
• Translate SME input and business requirements into structured learning experiences (courses, modules, job aids, practice activities).
• Apply adult learning principles, accessibility standards, and inclusive design across all deliverables.
• Partner with Learning Consultants, facilitators, and stakeholders to align solutions with business needs.
• Review learner feedback and data to continuously improve learning effectiveness.
• Use authoring tools, learning platforms, and AI-enabled design tools to accelerate development and tagging.
