Job summary

MassMutual seeks an Instructional Design Consultant to design and build modern, learner-centered learning experiences. You will translate business needs into practical content, developing scenarios, simulations, and performance support across multiple formats.

You will partner with leaders, HR, and SMEs to deliver scalable solutions, applying sound instructional design practices and leveraging AI tools to enhance quality and impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing interactive, scenario-based learning content.
• 1+ years using modern authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or similar.
• 1+ years developing SCORM or xAPI-based learning content or embedded, push/workflow-based learning solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end learning solutions including e-learning, instructor-led, blended, video, and embedded performance support.
• Create and customize learning content by adapting off-the-shelf materials into practical scenarios.
• Develop and maintain high-quality assets using Articulate Rise, Storyline, and other authoring tools.
• Apply instructional design and adult learning principles for learner-centered outcomes.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to support analysis, content creation, and scenario development.
• Use feedback and evaluation data to continuously improve content and experiences.
• Create reusable assets, templates, and standards to improve quality and speed.
