Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to create high‑quality learning solutions that enable performance and learning in the flow of work.

You will translate business needs into structured courses, modules, and practice activities, applying adult learning principles, accessibility standards, and inclusive design across all assets. You will work with SMEs, facilitators, and stakeholders to diagnose needs and deliver end‑to‑end learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in instructional design, learning development, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency with authoring tools and learning platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled design and tagging tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and update learning assets using approved templates, tools, and standards to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Translate SME input and business requirements into structured learning experiences addressing performance gaps.
• Apply adult learning principles, accessibility standards, and inclusive design across all deliverables.
• Partner with learning consultants, facilitators, and stakeholders to clarify scope and align solutions to needs.
• Review learner feedback and data to continuously improve learning effectiveness.
