Smith Hanley Associates in Austin, TX is hiring its first Insight Strategist to sit between customers, research, product, and technology. You’ll turn conversations into decision-ready insights and help shape how clients use an AI-native platform.

You’ll own onboarding, training, and strategic conversations, partner with Product, Engineering, and Sales, and identify opportunities to expand adoption across teams. This is a fast-growing AI-driven environment with equity potential.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years in market research, insights, strategy, or related fields.
• Strong ability to tell stories with data across qual and quant.
• Excellent ability to present to executives and stakeholders.
• Comfortable discussing research with researchers and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Dig into qualitative and quantitative data to find the story hiding underneath it.
• Turn customer conversations into sharp insights, dashboards, briefs, and presentations.
• Help clients answer the bigger 'so what?' — not just hand them findings.
• Lead onboarding, training, and strategic conversations with customers.
• Work with clients to think through research questions and business problems.
• Spot opportunities to expand usage across teams and use cases.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Sales to bring the customer voice back into the business.
• Move quickly, experiment, and help build the playbook as the company scales.
