Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience, with 3+ years of engineering management in fast-moving environments.
• Built and led teams at early-stage startups, shipping high-quality software under tight feedback loops.
• Strong technical leader who knows how to set a high bar and inspire others to reach it.
• Home base in high-autonomy, high-accountability environments and comfortable building from scratch.
• Experience wearing multiple hats: recruiting, coding, retros, prod debugging, or roadmap tweaks.
• Cares deeply about people and growing teammates technically and professionally.
• Moves fast, stays scrappy, prioritizes impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead a core product team and grow engineers while monitoring technical work.
• Own delivery by collaborating with product and design to ship customer-centered, fast, reliable initiatives.
• Level up engineering processes from planning through observability, CI/CD, and scale.
• Lead by example with code reviews, design discussions, and incident response.
• Build the team by recruiting, hiring, and onboarding as we scale 3x in 12 months.
• Shape culture with ownership, speed, and empathy for users and teammates.
