Job summary

Voyager Technologies, a Voyager Space subsidiary, seeks an Agentic GEOINT Mission Management Lead to own the technical vision and hands-on execution for a platform turning operator intent into actionable collection plans, aligned with orbital mechanics and sensor models.

You will mentor a small team, collaborate with domain experts, and ensure explainability, safety, and trust; TS/SCI clearance preferred and 7+ years in software or GEOINT with Python & AI experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software/mission systems or GEOINT with leadership on R&D or prototype efforts.
• Deep knowledge of GEOINT tasking and collection lifecycle (requirements, decks, access windows).
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered agents or tools; use of LLMs to accelerate development.
• Strong Python skills; experience with backend services and APIs.
• Ability to decompose complex, ill-structured mission problems into solvable parts.
• Active U.S. Top Secret / SCI clearance (or TS with SCI eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Serve as Principal Investigator for Agentic Mission Management; own vision and roadmap.
• Lead design of an agentic architecture where an AI orchestrator calls tools.
• Design, implement, and deploy production-ready AI agents translating intent to collection requests.
• Build explainability and human-on-the-loop trust into the platform.
• Develop MCP servers exposing mission systems to agents as secure tools.
• Build evaluation suites scoring agents on realistic tasking scenarios.
• Collaborate with GEOINT domain experts, scheduling and security staff to encode constraints.
• Mentor and lead a small high-tempo team of AI and mission-software engineers.
• Develop inputs to generate context for collection needs.
• Use LLMs as a development accelerator; ship with agents, not just code.
