Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks an Agentic GEOINT Mission Management Lead to drive the technical vision and hands-on execution for a platform that translates operator intent into mission planning, leveraging agentic AI and orbital mechanics. Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, mission systems, or GEOINT/remote-sensing systems with leadership on R&D or prototype efforts for IC or DoD customers.
• Deep working knowledge of GEOINT tasking and collection lifecycle, including access windows and sensor phenomenology (EO/IR, SAR, RF).
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered agents or tools, and using LLMs to accelerate development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend services/APIs.
• Ability to decompose complex mission problems into solvable sub-problems.
• Experience carrying a capability from prototype to production with hardening, testing, and security considerations.
• Active U.S. TS/SCI security clearance (or TS with SCI eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Serve as Principal Investigator for the Agentic Mission Management effort, owning the technical vision and roadmap from prototype to accredited capability.
• Design an agentic architecture where an AI orchestrator calls mission capabilities as tools.
• Build and deploy production-ready AI agents translating operator intent into structured collection requests, aligned with orbital mechanics and access constraints.
• Incorporate explainability and human-on-the-loop trust into AI recommendations.
• Develop and maintain MCP servers exposing mission systems to agents as robust tools.
• Create evaluation suites scoring agents on realistic tasking scenarios and operator trust metrics.
• Collaborate with GEOINT domain experts and security/accreditation staff to encode tradecraft and safety constraints into agent behavior.
• Mentor a high-tempo team of AI and mission-software engineers and set engineering standards.
• Build systems that take all-source inputs to inform collection needs and intention-to-action mapping.
• Use LLMs to accelerate scaffolding, testing, and documentation, shipping with agents.
