Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking an Agentic GEOINT Mission Management Lead to own the technical vision and build a scalable AI-native platform that translates operator intent into executable collection plans grounded in orbital mechanics.

You will lead a high-tempo team of AI and mission-software engineers, collaborate with domain experts, and deliver accredited capability from prototype to fielded systems while ensuring explainability and security.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering or GEOINT, with leadership on R&D or prototype efforts.
• Deep working knowledge of GEOINT tasking and collection lifecycle, including access windows and sensor phenomenology.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered agents or tools; use of LLMs to accelerate development.
• Proficiency in Python and backend services/APIs.
• Ability to decompose complex mission problems into solvable sub-problems.
• Experience bringing a capability from prototype to production with testing and security rigor.
• Collaborator with experience across unfamiliar domains and working with customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as PI for Agentic Mission Management; own vision, roadmap, and execution from prototype to accredited capability.
• Design an agentic architecture where an AI orchestrator calls mission capabilities as tools.
• Build and deploy production-ready AI agents translating natural language intent into structured collection requests checked against orbital mechanics.
• Incorporate explainability and human-on-the-loop trust in recommendations.
• Develop MCP servers exposing mission systems to agents as secure tools.
• Create evaluation harnesses scoring agents on realistic tasking scenarios and operator trust metrics.
• Collaborate with GEOINT domain experts and security staff to encode tradecraft and safety constraints into agent behavior.
• Mentor a high-tempo team of AI and mission-software engineers and set engineering standards.
• Leverage all-source inputs to inform collection needs; use LLMs to accelerate scaffolding and documentation.
