Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks an Agentic GEOINT Mission Management Lead to guide the technical vision for an AI-native platform that translates operator intent into validated collection plans. You will orchestrate large satellite constellations and ensure feasible, explainable execution against orbital physics and sensor models.

You will own architecture, tooling, and collaboration with IC customers, maturing the prototype into accredited capability while maintaining rigorous safety and reliability

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, mission systems, or GEOINT/remote-sensing, with leadership on IC/DoD R&D or prototype efforts.
• Deep knowledge of GEOINT tasking and collection lifecycle, including requirements, access windows, sensor phenomenology, and multi-source management.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered agents or tools and using LLMs to accelerate development.
• Strong Python skills and backend service/API experience.
• Ability to decompose complex mission problems into solvable sub-problems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as PI for the Agentic Mission Management effort: set technical vision, roadmap, and execution.
• Design an agentic architecture where an AI orchestrator calls mission capabilities as tools.
• Develop and deploy production-ready AI agents translating operator intent into structured collection requests.
• Build explainability and human-on-the-loop trust into the platform with auditable AI recommendations.
• Develop MCP servers exposing mission systems to agents as robust tools.
• Create evaluation suites scoring agents on realistic tasking scenarios and operator trust.
• Collaborate with GEOINT domain experts to encode policy and safety constraints into agent behavior.
• Mentor a small AI/mission-software team and enforce engineering standards.
