Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks an Agentic GEOINT Mission Management Lead to guide the development of an AI-native platform that translates operator intent into mission management actions. You will own the technical vision, drive architecture, and shepherd the system from prototype through accreditation, collaborating with operators and engineers across the security spectrum.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in GEOINT, software, or mission systems with demonstrated leadership on R&D/prototype efforts for IC/DoD.
• Deep knowledge of GEOINT tasking and collection lifecycle, access windows, sensor phenomenology, and multi-source management.
• Hands-on experience building and using LLM-powered agents or tools to accelerate development.
• Strong Python proficiency and experience building or directing backend services/APIs.
• Ability to decompose complex, ill-structured mission problems into solvable sub-problems.
• Experience moving capabilities from prototype to production with hardening and security.
• Multidisciplinary collaboration with domain experts to encode tradecraft into agent behavior.
• Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI security clearance (or TS with SCI eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Serve as Principal Investigator for the Agentic Mission Management effort, owning vision, roadmap, and execution; engage IC and DoD customers; advance from prototype to accredited capability.
• Lead the design of an agentic architecture where an AI orchestrator calls mission capabilities as tools.
• Design, implement, and deploy production-ready AI agents translating operator intent into structured collection requests.
• Build explainability and human-on-the-loop trust into the platform with auditable, traceable recommendations.
• Develop MCP servers exposing mission systems to agents as robust tools.
• Create evaluation suites scoring agents on realistic tasking scenarios and operator trust metrics.
• Collaborate with GEOINT domain experts to encode policy and safety constraints into agent behavior.
• Mentor a small high-tempo team of AI and mission-software engineers and set engineering standards.
• Build context from all-source inputs to inform collection needs.
• Use LLMs to accelerate scaffolding, testing, and documentation; ship with agents, not just build them.
