Job summary

Namecheap is seeking a Financial Controller to own the integrity of financial reporting and modernize our accounting function. This hands-on, greenfield build will bring the function to US GAAP rigor, implement an AI-native ERP, and shape a lean, high-impact finance team reporting to the CFO.

Qualifications

• Trained at a top-tier global accounting firm with multi-entity consolidations and multi-currency environments.
• CPA or equivalent (ACCA, CA) preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller or Assistant Controller roles.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close with accurate consolidated financials.
• Oversee general ledger, technical accounting, and revenue recognition across domains (hosting, subscriptions, marketplace).
• Lead an AI-native finance organization with automation from day one.
• Re-architect accounting foundations for US GAAP rigor and scalable controls.
• Manage ERP selection and end-to-end implementation, data migration, testing, and go-live.
• Partner with CFO on finance and treasury strategy and external auditors.
