Job summary

Procore is seeking an Architect, Enterprise Data to join our Enterprise Data Engineering team. You will own the end-to-end architecture of the enterprise data platform, spanning ingestion, warehousing, analytics, data science/ML, and AI agents.

This is a hands-on IC role writing production code and building self-service patterns for rapid business impact. You will lead the platform AI strategy, enable self-service analytics, and partner with senior leaders on data platform roadmaps, including

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or software engineering, with enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks, including performance tuning and security model design.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, plus experience with ETL/ELT tools like Fivetran, dbt, Airflow, and Census.
• Proven track record enabling self-service analytics and data-driven decision making.
• Experience leading data integration for large-scale initiatives such as M&A.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture of Procore's enterprise data platform across ingestion, warehousing, analytics, ML, and reverse ETL.
• Lead the platform AI strategy, building agents and NL interfaces for business users.
• Create self-service capabilities with a governed semantic layer and trusted data sources.
• Develop reusable patterns and golden paths to accelerate engineering and analytics work.
• Contribute hands-on by writing production code and proofs of concept.
• Guide data platform strategy for M&A and integration of acquired companies.
