Procore Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Architect, Enterprise Data to own the end-to-end architecture of the firm's enterprise data platform.

This hands-on role involves building data ingestion, warehousing, analytics, data science/ML components, and AI agents while enabling self-service analytics for business users. The ideal candidate will lead the platform AI strategy, design reusable patterns, and drive data integration for M&A efforts, partnering with Security, Legal, and business leaders

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or software engineering.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Proven track record in data warehouse development and semantic layers.
• Experience enabling self-service analytics for non-technical users.
• Experience building AI/LLM-powered applications or agents and ML workloads.
• Experience leading data integration for M&A or large-scale consolidations.
• Ability to lead senior engineers and align stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture of the enterprise data platform, including ingestion, warehousing, analytics, data science/ML, and AI agents.
• Lead AI strategy for enterprise data, enabling agents and natural-language interfaces for business users.
• Build self-service capabilities with a governed semantic layer and certified data sources.
• Create reusable patterns and templates to help engineers and analysts deliver more.
• Contribute hands-on by writing production code and proofs of concept.
• Own data platform strategy for M&A, leading integration into the enterprise platform.
• Establish data quality, testing, governance, and observability standards with privacy/compliance partners.
• Shape the data platform roadmap with business leaders and mentor senior engineers.
