Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the Lake Forest, CA team. You will design and deliver AI-enabled Azure cloud solutions using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and C#.

You will mentor teams, implement AI-driven patterns, and champion modern engineering practices to improve quality and velocity. Responsibilities include design of infrastructure and AI solutions, POCs, and collaboration with cross-functional partners to meet security and SLAs while promoting scalable AI usage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in computer science or related degree.
• Strong background in AI/ML concepts or AI-enabled development.
• Proficiency with Angular web development framework.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Proficiency with C# and .NET.
• Experience in agile environments and testable modules.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Microsoft Azure cloud solutions using Angular, C#, and AI-enabled services.
• Act as a technical leader and advocate for AI adoption across teams.
• Serve as a Microsoft Azure and AI technical resource for customers.
• Plan and implement intelligent cloud solutions with AI-assisted development, automation, and observability.
• Work with architects to design infrastructure, databases, and AI solutions meeting client needs and SLAs.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver production-ready, AI-enhanced designs in Azure.
• Promote responsible, scalable AI usage across engineering teams.
• Build internal best practices for AI-enabled development and HVE guidance.
