Job summary

AVEVA’s Frontier Industrial AI team seeks a Principal Research Scientist to define and pursue high-impact research in industrial AI. You will lead initiatives, build prototypes, and publish results that advance AVEVA’s technology portfolio.

You will collaborate with labs, universities, and industry partners to push the boundaries of time-series, multimodal data, and AI-native data foundations, while shaping the team’s long-term AI strategy.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent research experience in ML/AI, CS, applied math or related field.
• Strong publications, patents, or open-source contributions showcasing original research.
• Hands-on ability in AI experimentation and software development.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead ambitious frontier industrial AI research initiatives.
• Develop models, algorithms, evaluation methods, and system architectures.
• Build experimental systems and validated research prototypes.
