Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Senior Manager to lead AI Core Services Development. You will drive delivery across multiple Scrum teams, align with product and architecture, and ensure cloud-native, secure AI platform services.

You will mentor teams, manage performance, and shape the AI roadmap. In this role, you will partner with product, portfolio, and engineering stakeholders to scale AI-enabled services and public APIs across AVEVA’s product portfolio.

Qualifications

15+ years in software/product development with delivery leadership.
Proven track record delivering complex distributed systems.
Strong execution, planning, and tracking experience.
Experience managing dependencies, risks, and cross-team delivery.
Strong people leadership and coaching experience.
Agile delivery experience and continuous improvement mindset.
Good understanding of cloud and modern engineering practices.
Strong stakeholder communication skills.
Experience working in globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

Delivery & Execution: Lead and manage delivery across multiple Scrum teams ensuring predictable, high-quality outcomes.
Planning & Prioritization: Own planning, dependency management, and delivery tracking.
Translate business priorities into clear delivery plans.
Risk management: Proactively handle risks, dependencies, and blockers.
People Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams; manage performance and career development.
Continuous improvement: Foster accountability and improve delivery efficiency.
Stakeholder Alignment: Align with Product, Portfolio, and Architecture teams; provide visibility into progress.
Operating Model: Drive Agile practices and collaboration across distributed teams.
Technical Oversight: Maintain understanding to support decisions; work with Technical Leads on design.
