Human Interest, a high-growth fintech company in Lindon, Utah, is hiring for an Accounts Payable Specialist. You will manage day-to-day AP processes, audit expenses, and ensure precise invoice processing while leveraging AI for workflow automation and data extraction.

The role targets recent graduates with a solid foundation in accounting concepts, attention to detail, and eagerness to grow in a dynamic finance environment. Located in Lindon with Friday remote option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Solid knowledge of basic accounting principles and the purchase-to-pay lifecycle.
• Experience with AI tools to optimize tasks (e.g., Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and data entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and enter vendor invoices with precision into ERP systems.
• Audit employee expense reports for policy compliance and proper receipts.
• Perform data entry for vendor setup, tax documents, POs, and payment scheduling.
• Use AI tools to automate routine correspondence and summarize invoices.
• Reconcile statements and assist with month-end closing and audits.
