Job summary

Taranis is seeking an AI-Native Technical Product Manager to translate agronomic needs into AI-enabled product specs. You will work close to customers and engineers, drafting specs, validating ideas with field data, and guiding the AI-native development process.

Based in the Midwest or Indianapolis, IN, you will travel regularly to customer sites and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, value-driven solutions for growers and retailers.

Qualifications

• Experience in agriculture or ag tech setting (retail, agronomy, grower-facing).
• Direct AI tool usage to draft or refine product specs or prototypes.
• Ability to write precise, unambiguous requirements for engineering teams.
• Ability to discuss tradeoffs and feasibility with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Engage with ag retail customers to discover needs and translate into product specs.
• Lead AI-driven spec development and validate against field data.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure alignment with design standards and platform integrity.
• Prioritize product opportunities on the roadmap based on agronomic and economic value.
