Job summary

TribalScale is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with client and internal teams, turning ambiguous business challenges into production-scale AI software. You will design AI-enabled apps, agentic workflows, and tools, while building solid data pipelines and ensuring reliability in real-world environments.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade software, ideally with AI-powered or agentic systems.
• Strong Python and TypeScript skills with practical harness engineering knowledge.
• Ability to design and evaluate AI-enabled workflows, tools, and runtimes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to translate objectives into technical requirements and delivery plans.
• Design and build AI-enabled applications, agentic workflows, APIs, data pipelines, and full-stack products.
• Engineer AI model harnesses, prompts, tools, context, memory, and observability.
• Create evaluation frameworks to measure accuracy, reliability, and value.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable production systems.
• Travel to client sites for workshops or on-site delivery when required.
