Job summary

McCain Foods is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer to own high-value AI use cases from problem discovery to delivery and adoption. You will embed in business workflows, drive adoption, and partner with AI engineers to ensure reliable, governance-aligned solutions across SAP, Salesforce, and Databricks.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in tech project ownership, a strong ROI focus, and travel to site visits and plant locations. Hybrid work model with some remote days is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience owning complex, client-facing, or business-facing technology projects.
• Ability to frame high-level business problems and connect solutions to ROI or KPIs.
• Experience reasoning about LLM and agent reliability constraints.
• Experience navigating noisy enterprise data and stakeholder needs.
• Proven record of driving measurable financial impact and user adoption.

Responsibilities

• Own one high-value AI use case end-to-end and be accountable for the realized business outcome.
• Embed in the business workflow to identify high-value problems and define success metrics with the business owner.
• Drive use cases from discovery through deployment, adoption, and value realization.
• Partner with a technical AI Engineering lead to guide a cross-functional pod.
• Ensure AI solutions are accurate, reliable, and integrated with systems like SAP, Salesforce, Databricks.
• Drive user onboarding, training, and change management to embed solutions into daily processes.
• Identify adoption risks early and lead corrective actions for sustained impact.
• Support governance, security and Responsible AI requirements.
