Job summary

Weyerhaeuser is seeking a Senior Manager, AI & Data Governance to lead the enterprise AI and Data Governance capability. You will own strategy, operating model, team, portfolio, and governance execution to enable trusted data products and responsible AI across the enterprise.

This is a people and governance leadership role partnering with business stewards, IT, security, legal, privacy, and risk teams to embed governance in intake, delivery, and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in data governance, AI governance, or enterprise technology.
• Experience leading enterprise Data Governance capabilities in a complex, multi-business environment.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to translate policy into practical operating mechanisms across teams.
• Experience governing data products, metadata, lineage, and standards across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Lead and hire a diverse governance team across Data and AI governance.
• Define multi-year AI and Data Governance strategy and roadmap with measurable outcomes.
• Establish governance frameworks, stewardship, and escalation processes.
• Partner with architects, security, privacy, legal, and product teams to enforce governance by design.
• Monitor regulatory changes and translate them into proportional enterprise requirements.
