Job summary

Definitive Healthcare seeks a data and AI governance lead to define and oversee our governance architecture, ensuring secure, compliant, and ethical AI use across enterprise data. You’ll coordinate across legal, privacy, compliance, security, and IT to enable safe enterprise AI adoption.

You will drive centralized governance, data classification, and robust data quality and lineage practices, guiding teams globally.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data and AI governance or enterprise data compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks Unity Catalog for lineage and access management.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Retrieval Augmented Generation.
• Ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into automated guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Direct the design, execution, and operations of a centralized AI Trust Center.
• Establish Responsible AI standards and methods to mitigate bias and risk.
• Create a formal use‑case evaluation framework for AI initiatives.
• Oversee the AI/ML lifecycle governance and data lineage across systems.
• Define data governance policies, standards, and data classification framework.
• Ensure compliance with global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST RAM).
• Train users and engineers on governed data assets and safe practices.
