Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Senior Data Governance & Enablement Manager to lead the governance transformation across investment, operations, and client domains. You will own the enterprise data governance strategy, drive adoption, and build AI-enabled capabilities across a federated organization.

You will mentor a team of managers and senior individual contributors, delivering governance-as-code practices and scalable controls. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-evolving data ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business management or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in data governance, data management, or information management.
• At least 3 years of demonstrated success leading high-performing teams.
• Hands-on experience building governance programs from the ground up.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI/ML for governance automation, including governance-as-code and policy-as-code.
• Technical foundation with cloud data platforms (Databricks, AWS) and governance tooling.
• Strong change-management skills across large, complex organizations.
• Experience in highly regulated environments (SEC, FINRA, EU AI Act) and financial services.
