Job summary

ExamWorks is seeking a Governance Analyst in Atlanta, GA to operationalize enterprise governance across AI, data, analytics, and product investment. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technologists to implement policies, classifications, and controls that protect data and support innovation.

The role focuses on managing data catalogs, glossaries, lineage, security, risk scoring, and governance workflows, while training users and reporting progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a business analysis role.
• Experience in governance programs.
• Experience with data governance disciplines: catalog, glossary, lineage, classifications, policies, security.
• Strong communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery.
• Familiarity with privacy and regulatory requirements governing data and AI.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Manage intake, review, and escalation of policy exceptions/waivers.
• Support governance council operating cadence and RAID tracking.
• Track framework adherence against maturity targets.
• Gather requirements and facilitate business case development for innovative use cases.
• Support tools like data catalogs, glossaries, lineage, risk scores.
• Partner with security and privacy teams on access controls.
• Monitor governance program adoption and report outcomes.
• Train users on governance standards and tools.
• Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
