Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. in Temple, TX is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead AI data-center deployments from concept to execution, coordinating hardware, firmware, and software across engineering and business teams.

You will define plans and schedules, forecast resources, manage procurement and infrastructure readiness, and maintain governance artifacts while driving cross-functional collaboration and continuous process improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• PMP or formal project-management education preferred.
• Experience leading integrated hardware–software projects.
• Experience with Agile and project scheduling.
• Proven ability to manage complex dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Define, plan, and drive projects and project plans based on management guidance.
• Develop project schedules considering drivers, software stack components, and hardware dependencies.
• Manage end-to-end cluster development cycle including forecasting, sourcing, and infrastructure readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define dependencies and prevent delays.
• Maintain Plan of Record and hold teams accountable for deliverables.
• Establish, enforce, and refine processes to improve efficiency.
• Provide concise updates to executives and engineering teams.
• Build and maintain project artifacts: Plan of Record, SOWs, timelines, budgets, scope, KPIs.
• Plan for risks and drive issue resolution to optimize costs.
• Communicate project concepts and milestones with stakeholders.
