Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Temple, TX to lead AI Data Center deployments from concept to execution. You will coordinate across hardware, firmware, and software teams to meet product objectives, drive schedules, and ensure resource readiness.

The role blends strategic project management with hands‑on execution, process definition, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

Multiple years of technical project management experience leading integrated system‑level solutions spanning hardware and software.
Self-starter with initiative and delivery mindset.
Excellent communication, executive presentation, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong organization and planning skills with experience driving development schedules and managing project risk.
Proactive in involving appropriate contributors in planning, decision‑making, and implementation.
Skilled in problem resolution with internal and external engineering groups.
Engineering background preferred.

Responsibilities

Define, plan, and drive projects and project plans based on management and senior technical guidance.
Develop project schedules considering drivers, software stack components, hardware/firmware dependencies, and staffing plans.
Manage end‑to‑end cluster development cycle, including forecasting, sourcing, procurement, and infrastructure readiness.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define dependencies, eliminate gaps, and prevent delays.
Maintain the Plan of Record (POR) and hold teams accountable for deliverables.
Establish, enforce, and refine processes to achieve operational efficiency.
Provide concise updates to executives and engineering teams.
Build and maintain project artifacts (Plan of Record, statements of work, timelines, budget, scope, KPIs).
Plan for risks, identify prevention methods, and drive issue resolution to optimize engineering costs.
Communicate project concepts, milestones, and progress with stakeholders.
