Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) seeks a Technical Software Program Manager to lead end-to-end software program execution for SDKs, software suites and integrated SW solutions across CPU and AI accelerator programs.

You will coordinate with silicon engineering, platform product management, software development and QA to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality releases in a highly matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Multiple, recent hands-on experience driving execution of software programs (SDKs, libraries, tools) for Enterprise AI and HPC.
• Experience leading multi-site, multi-discipline engineering programs in a matrixed organization.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly to diverse stakeholders and influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive software program execution of SDKs, software suites, and integrated SW solutions meeting scope, quality, and schedule with hardware milestones.
• Lead cross-functional release planning with software architects and product management.
• Drive coordinated release readiness for software through core team meetings.
• Report overall software execution and release status at senior leadership level with schedule changes, issues, and risks including mitigations.
• Manage software-related escalations, run tiger teams, perform root cause analysis and corrective actions with transparent communication.
• Align software roadmaps with AMD’s technology roadmaps; lead migration strategies for customers on prior generations.
• Support pre-design win and post-design win activities for strategic Enterprise AI and HPC accounts with credible roadmaps, schedules, and feature commitments; coordinate early SDKs and demos.
