Job summary

RUM Group Inc. seeks a Data Center Site Manager to lead launch and operations of its Pittsburgh data center, overseeing construction turnover, commissioning, and steady-state 24/7 operations.

You will build and lead the on-site team, establish processes, manage electrical and mechanical infrastructure, vendor relations, and ensure uptime.

This role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-moving environment with strong communication and safety discipline.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data center or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience leading construction handover and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, cooling systems.
• Proven vendor and contractor management.
• Experience with 24/7 operations and incident response.
• Customer and stakeholder communication.
• Safety and OSHA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site data center operations for Pittsburgh facility.
• Build and manage operations team and staffing models.
• Oversee handover from construction to steady-state.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Lead site-level projects with scope, budget, schedule.
• Own incident response and customer coordination.
