Job summary

Rumble, via its Quake AI initiative, seeks a Data Center Site Manager to lead the Pittsburgh facility's launch and ongoing operations for high-density AI and HPC workloads, including liquid-cooled GPU infrastructure.

You will build the on-site operations team, establish robust procedures, manage critical electrical and mechanical systems, and ensure reliable 24/7 service. Opportunities to expand to additional colocation sites may arise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in data center operations, mission-critical facilities, or comparable environments.
• Experience leading construction turnover, commissioning support, operational readiness, or major infrastructure retrofit activity.
• Deep understanding of electrical, mechanical, cooling, and IT/networking for data centers or mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site data center operations for the Pittsburgh facility, including personnel, infrastructure, safety, vendor performance, and customer coordination.
• Build and manage a high-performing operations team (electrical and mechanical technicians).
• Develop staffing models, training programs, and performance expectations for 24/7 operations.
• Oversee transition from construction to steady-state operations and ensure complete handover of infrastructure and documentation.
• Maintain MOPs, SOPs, EOPs, and other operating procedures; participate in equipment commissioning.
