Job summary

TAE Power Solutions is seeking a senior, externally focused commercial leader to drive growth by acquiring flagship AI data center and hyperscale customers and building a high-impact sales team. The role centers on opening doors, shaping opportunities, and closing high-value deals across the data center and BESS markets.

The role reports to the SVP Sales, interacts with executive leadership, and offers a path to broader commercial leadership based on performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales experience within data center, energy infrastructure, or similar industries with complex development ecosystems.
• Proven senior-level technical sales leadership with a track record of closing high-value deals.
• Established, active industry network within the BESS and energy storage ecosystem.
• Strong working knowledge of both hardware and software components of stationary energy storage systems.
• Experience bringing new technologies to market from a Tier 1 supplier or OEM.
• Exceptional executive presence with ability to influence at the highest levels.
• Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills (Excel-based).

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand TPS’s reach across hyperscalers, colocation providers, developers, EPC firms, engineering consultants, utilities, and other data center stakeholders.
• Originate, qualify, and close new customer opportunities through direct engagement and industry relationships.
• Build and maintain long-standing executive-level relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
• Own the full sales lifecycle: account strategy, opportunity development, qualification, proposal leadership, negotiation, and close.
• Develop and execute a clear, data-driven sales plan aligned with revenue and customer growth targets.
• Provide strategic commercial input to influence product strategy, roadmaps, and business model evolution.
