Job summary

Genesis10 is seeking a Cognitive Implementation Engineer for an onsite, 12+ month contract in Chicago, IL. The role focuses on building business processes with virtual assistant tech and collaborating across teams to gather requirements and optimize development cycles.

Responsibilities include implementing BPMN-driven processes, building reusable scripts, and rigorous unit testing with robust error handling. Strong scripting, DevOps, and REST/SOAP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in at least one scripting language such as JavaScript or Groovy.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with DevOps and Agile methodology (Jira).
• Experience with integration frameworks like Apache Camel or similar (e.g., MuleSoft).
• Experience with REST and/or SOAP web services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement processes into the Virtual Assistant using the BPMN standard.
• Build and maintain a script library across multiple domains.
• Perform unit testing during development with proper error handling.
• Provide timely resolutions or workarounds for bugs or outages.
• Collaborate with functions to validate feasibility and gather requirements throughout development.
