Job summary

Asana is seeking a Technical Consultant in Chicago to bridge code and customer outcomes. You will design and deliver custom integrations and automations, influencing architectures and advising IT and business stakeholders.

This hybrid role blends architect-level thinking with hands-on development and customer advocacy. Based in our office with a hybrid schedule, you will engage enterprise customers, write code, and lead delivery from kickoff to close.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, or Customer Engineer.
• 3+ years of hands-on programming in Python or Node.js with REST API experience.
• Strong architectural mindset and ability to design for scale.
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert on Asana product, APIs, and developer tools.
• Design and deliver scalable, customized solutions that integrate Asana into complex enterprise ecosystems.
• Lead post-sales delivery from kickoff through close, owning the project lifecycle and coding where needed.
• Coordinate with Implementation Managers to maintain momentum and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Advise on automation, integration, and extensibility within tech stacks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide an end-to-end customer experience.
