Job summary

Capgemini Invent in Chicago is seeking a senior consultant to lead process diagnostics and automation initiatives within our AI-enabled transformation practice. You will turn insights into executable plans, using GenAI as an accelerator and guiding teams toward measurable outcomes.

You will drive process discovery, governance, and automation roadmaps, while coaching junior colleagues and presenting recommendations to top executives.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in process transformation, automation, or business transformation consulting.
• Hands-on exposure to process mining/automation tools and methods.
• Executive-ready communication and strong client presence.
• Experience with TOM, controls, or governance is a plus.
• Experience with process mining and automation tools (UiPath, Celonis, Signavio).
• Lean six sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead process discovery, mining, and root-cause analysis for client workstreams.
• Define target operating model implications and governance for sustained change.
• Build and prioritize automation roadmaps based on value and feasibility.
• Facilitate workshops, present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Guide adoption of automation and AI-enabled operational improvements.
• Coach junior team members and ensure high-quality deliverables.
