Job summary

AHEAD is seeking an AI Adoption Lead to drive human-centered AI transformation within a business unit. You will pair change management with coaching, redesign roles, and build capacity for AI-enabled workflows.

This role reports to the VP, Talent and Workforce Transformation and focuses on readiness, governance, and capability uplift. Responsibilities include designing BU-level AI change strategies, building champions networks, and embedding responsible AI practices while guiding managers and

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, or related field, or equivalent applied experience.
4-8 years in change management, internal/management consulting, HR transformation, org effectiveness, or related roles.
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale technology or digital transformation from the people side.
Strong grasp of change management frameworks and ability to adapt them to AI contexts.
Experience in role design, job architecture, or organizational assessment.
Ability to build trust and credibility with business unit leaders and frontline employees as a consultative partner.
Data literacy with adoption metrics/workforce analytics to drive decisions.
Personal proficiency with AI tools and enthusiasm for AI-augmented work.

Responsibilities

Design BU-level AI change strategy and adoption plans.
Develop stakeholder engagement plans and resistance mapping.
Build a network of champions and superusers within the BU.
Monitor adoption signals and adjust interventions based on data.
Address employee anxiety and foster psychological safety around AI work.
Conduct systematic task deconstruction across BU roles to identify automation/augmentation.
Redesign job descriptions and role profiles for AI-augmented work.
Define AI-augmented career pathways and transition plans.
Assess AI fluency and identify skill gaps across functions and levels.
Co-design targeted learning programs for technical, workflow, and mindset aspects.
Integrate AI capability-building into daily workflows and manager enablement.
Track capability uplift against transformation milestones.
Build a culture of active participation in AI transformation and address equity concerns.
Embed responsible AI practices, governance, and transparency into team norms.
Coach managers to lead AI-augmented teams and run manager learning programs.
Own the BU's adoption measurement framework and design metrics.
Instrument adoption data and translate into actionable insights.
Surface informal AI use and channel into governed adoption.
Track adoption health across tenure, function, and generation.
Provide BU intelligence to inform org-wide strategy.
