Job summary

AHEAD is seeking an AI Adoption Lead to drive the transformation needed for AI deployment within a specific business unit. You will blend change management, coaching, and internal consulting to ensure employees work confidently with AI and new workflows.

Reporting to the VP of Talent and Workforce Transformation, you will develop strategies, redesign roles, and build capability across the BU, while guiding managers and measuring adoption success.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a Master’s or PhD in Industrial‑Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, or related field, or equivalent applied experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading large‑scale technology or digital transformation from the people side.
• Strong grasp of change management frameworks and ability to adapt them to AI contexts.

Responsibilities

• Design and consult on a BU‑level AI change strategy to move employees from experimenters to accelerators.
• Build stakeholder engagement plans, resistance mapping, and influence strategies.
• Create a network of champions and superusers within the BU to sustain adoption momentum.
• Monitor adoption signals and adjust interventions using real‑time data.
• Address employee anxiety and foster psychological safety around AI‑augmented work.
• Conduct systematic task deconstruction to identify AI automations and new roles.
• Redesign job descriptions and career pathways reflecting AI‑augmented work.
• Define new AI‑augmented job families with BU leaders.
• Identify roles at risk and design transition pathways.
• Assess AI fluency and identify skill gaps; design targeted learning programs.
• Integrate AI capability-building into daily workflows and manager enablement.
• Track capability uplift against BU milestones and report findings.
• Build a culture of active participation and responsible AI governance.
