Job summary

LatchBio seeks an AI Biologist to join the Medical Countermeasures team in advancing AI-augmented vaccine, antibody, and antiviral development for respiratory viruses. You will be the scientific authority on ground truth, testing whether agents can reason like an expert countermeasures scientist across vaccines, antibodies, and antivirals.

You will build tasks, curate datasets, and set the standard for agent outputs, requiring strong data interpretation and domain judgment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in vaccine/antibody development or antiviral development, preferably in respiratory viruses (influenza, RSV or coronaviruses).
• Deep expertise in vaccines/antibodies or antivirals: design, mapping, evaluation, immune responses, or resistance interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Turn real countermeasure workflows into tasks with clear, gradable answers.
• Write gold-standard answers from raw data with realistic tolerances.
• Curate data: neutralization titers, binding/epitope maps, serology time courses, EC50 and dose–response curves.
