Job summary

Credit Union of Texas seeks a Teller to act as a front-line ambassador, processing member transactions with accuracy and care. You will listen actively to identify needs, recommend CUTX products, and contribute to branch sales while upholding strict security and privacy policies.

You will balance cash, handle various transactions, and stay compliant with BSA/AML, OFAC, and CIP requirements, while leveraging AI-assisted tools and CUTX systems to support daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six (6) months of similar or related experience (cash handling, retail, customer service, or financial services).
• Prior teller, cashier, or financial services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions accurately and efficiently (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing, money orders, cashier's checks).
• Deliver an outstanding, friendly service and identify member needs to suggest CUTX products and services.
• Balance cash drawer daily and resolve discrepancies per procedures; greet members and provide product information.
• Identify member financial needs, meet branch sales/service goals, and refer to other CUTX specialists when needed.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements (BSA/AML, OFAC, Reg CC, CIP) and protect member information.
