Job summary

NISC seeks a Member Value Consultant to deliver virtual and onsite adoption, training, and consulting for NISC's AI Assistant and related workflows. The role focuses on advising Members on AI best practices, identifying high-impact use cases, and guiding rollout with measurable results.

You will work with cross-functional teams, establish success metrics, and help Members improve efficiency while maintaining data security and governance. Travel is low to moderate based on assignments.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of related experience in customer-facing consulting, training, business analyst, or solutions role.
• Hands-on experience using generative AI tools for real work, including writing effective prompts and judging output quality.
• Working understanding of what current AI tools do well and where they fall short, and the ability to explain both plainly.
• Experience configuring or supporting agentic or workflow automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and onsite consulting, training, and implementation guidance to Members on using NISC's AI Assistant and agentic workflows.
• Assess Member readiness and identify teams that stand to gain the most.
• Interview Member staff to find repetitive, high-effort, or error-prone work and prioritize use cases by value, effort, and risk.
• Advise Members on best practices for AI use, including workflow design, review steps, and phased rollout.
• Coach Member staff on writing effective prompts and structuring requests for their work.
