Job summary

NISC is seeking a Member Value Consultant to help Members maximize value from AI Assistant and agentic workflows across the enterprise. You will provide virtual and onsite adoption, training, and guidance, aligning AI opportunities with member needs.

You will assess readiness, design prompt standards, deliver role-based workshops, and publish practical playbooks while coordinating with Security and Compliance. Travel is low to moderate as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of related consulting or training experience.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI tools and prompting.
• Ability to explain AI capabilities and limitations clearly.
• Experience with workflow automation tools is helpful.
• Knowledge of the Utility/Broadband industries is a plus.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Excellent communication for non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage time, priorities and travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and onsite consulting, training, and implementation guidance on AI.
• Assess member readiness and identify teams that gain most.
• Interview staff to find high-effort, repetitive work for AI.
• Advise on AI best practices for workflow design, prompts, and rollout.
• Develop and deliver role-based training and workshops.
• Publish release notes and success stories to support adoption.
• Coordinate with Security and Compliance on data handling and guidelines.
• Travel as needed with low to moderate travel.
