Job summary

Evergreen FS in Clinton, IL is seeking a driven sales professional to grow our agricultural solutions portfolio across the Illinois and surrounding markets. You will travel within your territory to acquire new business, service existing customers, and promote a complete range of Crop Nutrients, Crop Protection, Seed, Scouting, Climate FieldView, Technology Services, and Ag-finance offerings.

The role requires independent travel, an Associate’s Degree in agriculture or related field, and a valid

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate’s Degree in agriculture, marketing, or business; 3+ years in production agriculture.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record for operating in the territory.
• Daily independent travel within the trade area with occasional overnight stays.
• Ability to obtain and maintain professional certifications (e.g., CCA, CCS, CPAg).
• Ability and willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service products to new and existing customers: Crop Nutrients, Crop Protection, Seed, Scouting, Climate FieldView, Technology Services, and Ag-finance program.
• Develop territory and marketing plans to generate profitable sales in the assigned area.
• Travel to client locations within the territory to establish Evergreen FS brand and obtain orders.
• Use target marketing and sales techniques and CRM to call on patrons and prospects.
• Meet sales goals as established by supervisor and maintain knowledge of market competition.
• Coordinate product delivery and scheduling; conduct regular patron meetings to build relationships.
